  9. Right to file a complaint – in the event that we refuse your request under the right of access, we will provide you with a reason why. If you are not satisfied with how your request was handled, please contact us.
  10.  Right to help from the privacy commission – which means you have the right to help from the privacy commission and the right of others to legal remedies such as claiming damages. 
  11. Right to withdraw your consent – you have the right to withdraw any consent given for the processing of your personal data.


4. What personal data do we collect?

In the context of our business (as mentioned above), we process personal data of professional customers, retailers or consumers who purchase or use our products, participants in our market research initiatives or surveys, participants in our competitions, visitors to our buildings, visitors to our websites, journalists, contact persons within administrative authorities and people who come into contact with us otherwise (for example because their name and contact details as an employee or director of our customers, suppliers and other business partners are provided to us).

We will put in place the necessary administrative, technical and organizational measures to guarantee a level of security adapted to the specific risks we have identified.

  • We monitor our systems for potential vulnerabilities and attacks. We use data centers located in Luxembourg certified by the Uptime Institute for design plans as well as facilities to TIER IV, TIER II standards.
  •  We ensure the security in place for each of our partners. 
  • We make sure to systematically respect all good practices in terms of security when designing our services.
 Even if we do our best, we cannot guarantee the security of the information. However, we commit to informing the competent authorities of data breaches. We will also notify you if there is a threat to your rights or interests. We will do everything reasonably possible to prevent security breaches and help the authorities in the event of a breach.

8. How long do we keep your personal data

Your personal data will not be kept longer than is necessary with regard to the purposes (as mentioned above) for which we process them. They may subsequently end up in our back-ups or archives, but they will no longer be actively processed in a file.

 More specifically, we apply the following conservation rules: 

  • personal data included in accounting, financial or other official documents will be kept as long as these documents must be legally kept,
  •  personal data necessary for the execution and monitoring of a contractual relationship will be kept throughout the duration of this relationship,
  •  personal data obtained in the context of processing complaints will be deleted (or made anonymous) as soon as the complaint has been closed, and 
  • all personal data used for marketing purposes will be kept as long as we send you relevant mailings and up to a maximum of one and a half years following that. As soon as we notice that your contact details are no longer accurate or active, or when you decide to use your right of unsubscription, we will no longer keep your personal data for these purposes. 
We will keep your personal data for a longer period only in cases where it is legally imposed on us or in the case where it is necessary to defend our interests in court (for example in the event of a dispute).
